One of his biggest achievements came in 2009 at the World Masters Games in Sydney, where 29000 athletes competed in this event. Andre was 5th in the world, a brilliant achievement. He feels that walking out in the Olympic Stadium in front of 70000 people was the highlight of his trip to Australia.
In 1993 the German Federation asked him to write a book called “Gewinnen beim Squash”, which he successfully completed in 1993 for the German, Austrian and Swiss market and has been selling globally. He dedicated his book to Lionel Ritchie, who he trained for a week and said it was the best week he ever spent in his life. He mentioned he was not a bad player but told him to stick with his singing career!!
Andre is one of the top coaching pros in the US, and among other students, helped coach Michelle Quibell, a pupil from Marist School who won the British Junior Open, becoming the #1 junior in the world. This is a remarkable achievement for a US junior.
