Dear Squash Players and Supporters,

As you already may know, we are part of a world-wide group of racquet sports enthusiasts of one of the healthiest sports in the world! Ranked above running, swimming, and rowing, squash was voted the number one healthiest sport by Forbes Magazine.  Not only are the health benefits highly rewarding, but it can be played year-round by folks of various skill levels, and it has a following of over 25 million players around the world.

The Piedmont Driving Club is excited to host Atlanta’s only Squash Doubles Association (SDA) Professional Tournament, The PDC Cup, which brings the top 24 doubles squash players in the world to our home to compete for $40,000.

The tournament, previously held annually in the fall, will now be held every-other-year, and it will occur this year from Thursday, December 6^th through Saturday, December 8th, 2018.  We hope you will join us as a player, patron, sponsor, or spectator, as this event is the highlight of the Driving Club’s squash program and it always promises many exciting matches!

In addition to the Professional and Pro/Am draws, the PDC Cup format includes an eight-team draw for the “Open”, “B”, “C” and Century doubles draws, and U.S. Squash-sanctioned singles events for skill levels 3.0 through 6.0.  Please note that “Open”, “B”, “C” and Century doubles draws are subject to start earlier in the week depending on the draw size.

The racquet fee of $250 entitles a player to enter up to two divisions and includes one dinner ticket and a tournament favor.  A Patron contribution of $750 ($500 for under 35) includes all Player Benefits, two dinner tickets, a doubles clinic with the Pros, an exclusive VIP gift, and your name listed in the tournament program as well as Thursday night VIP party tickets.

For out of town players and guests, a block of rooms has been reserved at the beautiful W Midtown conveniently located in walking distance from the Piedmont Driving Club.  Additional information concerning the 2018 PDC Cup, accommodations, entry form, sponsorship opportunities, and weekend schedule is attached.
