This prestigious annual event brings together top veteran players from around the country to compete across ten age-based divisions for national titles. We’re proud to recognize the outstanding performances of our ACS community members:
Sawyer Duncan and John Woodhams won their first doubles squash national championship in Canada over the weekend of March 28. Representing the Piedmont Driving Club, the Southeastern Squash Racquets Association (SESRA), and Atlanta Community Squash, Duncan and Woodhams dropped only one game en route to the 2025 Men’s A Doubles title in Toronto. This is the second national doubles squash championship for Sawyer and John and the first time an Atlanta team has won a Canadian squash national championship. Final rounds were streamed live via SquashCanada’s channel.
The Arlen Specter National Squash Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, recently played host to the 2025 US Squash Interscholastic Championships, and among the spirited competitors was a remarkable team of young athletes from the Atlanta area. The Atlanta Junior Tornadoes, a diverse group of over a dozen players hailing from both private schools and under-resourced communities, exemplified the unifying power of squash. Atlanta’s Sawyer Duncan won a second U.S. Squash national championship over the weekend at the 2024 U.S. Squash Skill Level Championships held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Representing SESRA, Atlanta Community Squash and the Piedmont Driving Club, Duncan entered the 5.0 singles draw as the #2 seed and did not lose a game en route to the title on the Exhibition Court at Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center.

In a very exciting and breathtaking final, Pakistan’s Muhammad Asim Khan, seeded #2, faced off against compatriot rising star Ashab Irfan and won 3-1.

This year, women and girls can enter up to two draws. Each entry is guaranteed two matches, and includes a tournament gift as well as light refreshments throughout the weekend.
